Helen Chong's Developer Blog

Today (17 September 2026) is the second anniversary of my omg.lol membership.

In April 2025, I wrote a blog post about switching from Visual Studio Code to Neovim as my main editor.

My journey at 42 the computer science school is coming to an end.

On the past Sunday, the RGB backlight of my Limeide GTX300 USB mechanical gaming keyboard that is plugged in to my main computer, which is a gaming laptop, suddenly stopped working.

In the past week, I had a successful presentation during my school's roadshow.

My school, 42 Malaysia, just held a roadshow event on February 27 and 28, 2026.

On 6 October 2025, I returned to school by officially attending the core programme of my local campus of 42 the computer science school, after having passed the school's 26-day bootcamp named the Piscine in May.

On 15 October 2025, I spoke at Episode 27 of THE Eleventy Meetup, about building a multilingual blog with Eleventy.

Recently, I ordered a new pair of USB keyboard and mouse for myself — Limeide GRX300 — through a local e-commerce store.

19 September 2025 marks the first anniversary of my membership of omg.lol, a web platform consists of various services.

Starting from today, I am no longer using Bun, the JavaScript runtime.
