Earlier today when I was standing in the supermarket waiting for an order I had placed for collection (a new kettle), I found myself wondering, if I was locked in here because of some sort of disaster scenario, how long do I think I could last.

Another week in the bag and a lot of metal to get into.

I woke up this morning and the first thing I saw on my phone was an email from the mighty Iron Maiden, one of my all time favourite bands, and they had a proposition.

The ladies The fellas The people that don’t give a fuck The lovers The haters The people that call themselves players The hot mamas The pimp daddies The people rollin’ up in caddies The rockers The hip hoppers And everybody all around the world.

It’s Friday.

Well it’s been a quite a week and a half.

Another week in the rear view mirror means we get some riffs to fill up on as we approach the buffet of new metal releases.

I don’t know about you but to me that felt like a really long week.

People always say that if they had a time machine they’d go back and kill Hitler.

One thing that can really affect my enjoyment and immersion when rewatching older shows I’ve seen before is the music licensing.

Another Bandcamp Friday has came and went and of course, purchases were made.

Another week has arrived with a bunch of new releases for us all to devour.

As much as I love having this blog and sharing my thoughts online, I’ve always wanted to keep a proper private, handwritten journal just for me.

Over the years on Bandcamp I’ve amassed a few hundred digital releases.

Anyone who knows me, follows me on social media or reads this blog knows how much I love metal.

I’ve been a fan of football (soccer) for almost as long as I remember.

Another week has come to its conclusion and that means it’s time to blow off some steam with some new metal.

I’ve stopped naming these posts weekly life updates because they are simply too infrequent.

Another week passed, another treasure chest of riffs to be rifled through.
