When something you want is not available for purchase, well, you can always build it yourself!

Seeking ever more usable surface area in my storage room, I set out to build an extension for the shoe rack that was already in place.

Inspired by Wintergatan I designed, 3D-printed and built this Pac-Man Marble Gate.

I needed a better way to store the headphones for my digital piano, because I would just place them on the keyboard, which did not look nice, and they would get in the way when using the built-in speakers.

Two weeks ago I took part in Plot Party, which is a pen plotting art challenge (sort of like a game jam for pen plotter art).

Grnch is a command line tool and Go library for generating and working with G-Code for pen plotters using the grbl firmware.

While Inkscape is a great vector editor, its startup performance on Windows is terrible, often taking 5 seconds or more to open an empty window on my computer.
