### Non-metal **[Cigarettes After Sex - X's](https://cigarettesaftersex.bandcamp.com/album/xs)** Somber, intimate dream pop.

### Non-metal **[Pedro The Lion - Santa Cruz](https://pedrothelion.bandcamp.com/album/santa-cruz)** Favorite of the week by a long shot.

### Non-metal **[Sunday (1994) - Self-titled EP](https://www.youtube.com/@sunday1994forever/videos)** Brand new debut from indie pop / shoegaze outfit Sunday (1994) - yes the year is part of the band name.

New bonus section at the bottom this week, trying something new.

### Non-metal **[Cloud Nothings - Final Summer](https://cloudnothings.bandcamp.com/album/final-summer)** Indie rock from Ohio whose vocal harmonies sort of remind me of bands like Sloan.

### Non-metal **[Maggie Rogers - Don't Forget Me](https://album.link/i/1727422029)** A new artist for me.

### Non-metal **[Lizzy McAlpine - Older](https://album.link/i/1729662067)** The first time I'm hearing of this folk/pop/singer-songwriter.

I kinda love everything listed this week- so not picking favorites.

🌿 = Top recommendation ### Non-metal **[STRFKR - Parallel Realms](https://starfucker.bandcamp.com/album/parallel-realms)** Shoegaze-inspired dance/dream-pop veterans STRFKR release their seventh full length and their fifth on Polyvinyl (a record label I h…

- Recommendations on gardenofnoise are specific to the taste of the singular author of the site, for the most part.

Plenty of music this past week.

Slow week last week, only found a few releases, and all metal. ### Metal **[Griffon - De Republica](https://griffonblackmetal.bandcamp.com/album/de-republica)** French medieval black metal with plenty of blasting, but often some nice melodic, softer inter…

With this final catch-up post we're up to date.

I think I'm finally back at it again.

### *Non-metal releases* **Gunship - Unicorn** [bc](https://gunshipmusic.bandcamp.com/album/unicorn) / [a.l](https://album.link/us/i/1688763067) This popular synthwave act returns with a new album.

**Kerrigan - Bloodmoon** [bc](https://kerriganheavymetal.bandcamp.com/album/bloodmoon) / [a.l](https://album.link/us/i/1693087019) Possibly my favorite of the week.

**Bruxa - Colder-Darker** [bc](https://wallachianopulence.bandcamp.com/album/colder-darker) Dreary minimal ambient synth.

**An Object In Motion - Drab Majesty** [bc](https://drabmajesty.bandcamp.com/album/an-object-in-motion) / [a.l](https://album.link/us/i/1685860740) A wonderful darkwave / new wave / gothic rock band and this is a solid EP follow-up to 2019's Modern Mirror.

**Dawn Of The Axe by Cruel Force** [bc](https://cruelforceofficial.bandcamp.com/album/dawn-of-the-axe) / [a.l](https://album.link/us/i/1701803909) Speed metal and my favorite of the week.

Personal notes: * If it suits your needs, ability, budget, and use case, consider buying vs. streaming and choosing the Bandcamp link on the album link pages.

The most memorable releases from the year for me.
