A short one today.

Like seemingly everyone else with a Claude subscription, since the start of this month I've been squeezing as much Fable as I can1 out of my little USD$20 subscription.

Whenever I'm sitting at home looking for something to read, or watch, or browse; these thoughts tend to pop into my mind: I could read / watch / listen / browse something I'm already familiar with, or look for something totally new.

Lately I've been having to get up earlier than I am used to (around 6:30am to 7am) for work reasons.

I have a confession to make.

I've become somewhat obsessed with Infinite Jest again after reading the Matt Lakeman post about it, having somehow made my way through it1 some time during high school.

I've had a crazy busy last couple of days and my sleep schedule hasn't quite recovered, so this will just be a link dump post.

TL;DR: Don't use AI to produce notes, but using it for semantic search and knowledge synthesis seems fine.

As of yesterday it's my 100 day anniversary of my daily journal goal.
