Here’s an update on my health, at Day 68 in hospital.

It is bad that I have started writing this post because, for reasons you will see below, I am worried about how much time we spend talking about AI, even as I recognise that politics requires work and attention.

I think often on this, on preservation, from Thomas Jefferson (slave owner) in 1791: “let us save what remains: not by vaults and locks which fence them from the public eye and use”.

Crossref have been asking for feedback on their new member practices.

As many of you know, I am currently in hospital.
