For the longest time, I’ve been guilty of looking for sources of inspiration or reference images for my projects online.

I’ve been spending a lot of my free time these last few days playing around in Obsidian (see my previous post[1] about getting back into using daily notes).

One thing I am absolutely terrible at is remembering things.

It’s time for January’s collection of links.

For the past few days, in what little time I’ve had to think about this blog, I’ve been wondering what to write about to kick things off for the new year.

Life 2024 has certainly been a year… That sounds awfully negative, and is maybe undeserved.

It’s the Christmas season, so I’ve been enjoying some time away from the day job and also a little break from working on my art.

Notes and Title Ideas Now that I have a new computer for the first time in years, I’ve also decided to treat it like a blank slate.

This is the 28th and, most likely, final artwork for 2024.

The last time I bought myself a new computer was in 2019.

I haven’t done a post about my home screen for a while, so I figured it was about time for an update.

It’s been a while since I did one of these so I’ve got a few good ones saved up.

I snagged myself a whole bunch of new asset packs for Blender during the Black Friday sales over on Blender Market.

Today I’ve existed for 35 years, which I suppose is some sort of achievement.

Work and life have been keeping me very busy lately, so it’s been a while longer than I would have liked since I posted something new.

I’ve written a few posts on this blog about how I save and bookmark links to interesting things and articles I find online.

Over the last few months I’ve slowly been growing tired of the color scheme I’ve been using on my website.

I started a new job about three weeks ago, and I couldn’t be happier.

“Criminally underrated” is a phrase that I’m sure has been used, at this point, to describe basically anything and everything that has ever existed or will exist in the future.

I made another phone wallpaper pack!

I’m sure some of you have heard about the recent Wordpress drama.

After spending almost 8 hours in various planes and airports I’m back home from our vacation week in Malta.

As I write this it is way too early in the morning, and the missus and I are sitting in the airport waiting for the plane that will take us to Switzerland, where we’ll have to wait for a few hours before boarding the plane that will take us to our ultimate

On a whim, and because I’m looking for a reason to take more photographs, I made an account on Glass.photo.

I don’t get to spend as much time gaming these days because there are other things I would much rather do most days.

So, on Monday, iOS 18 was finally released, and with it came some new options for customizing our home screens.

A few months back I wrote about my search for a good way to store and organize my collection of bookmarks, and how I eventually settled on using Obsidian as the place I keep everything.
