Long journey to the top of the Cotswolds to seed a site for a very special customer of Glorious Grasslands.

Very busy day ahead today, and kicked off by meeting with Tony at Stroud for the monthly riverfly check at Ebley Meadows.

The gardens at Badminton House are open three times a year, and we only noticed last night that today was one of them.

Tony has been organising today’s event, Go with the Flow, for over a year now.

The harvest actually ended last week, and Glorious Grasslands spent this week weighing and sorting seed in the barn prior to the spreading which starts next week.

Met with Graham at 9am to do our regular riverfly check near the Ocean.

Today the Innovation Lab from Gloucestershire libraries visited Dursley to do a pop up lab session and share some of their activities.

My last harvest of the 2026 season with Glorious Grasslands on a rescheduled day due to heavy rain forecast later this week.

A long journey this morning to the eastern edge of the Cotswolds with Glorious Grasslands to a major new site for the project.

Returned to the cricket club with Stroud Valleys Project for the last Himalayan Balsam pulling of the season.
