Blog - Feeding the curious

I suppose I should say “X”, but I still can't get myself to call it that.

I’ve started a daily photo tweet.

I'm always connected to my phone.

I’ve been poorly disciplined about my online properties, including this one.

As some of you know, the kid is passionate about soccer.

The Leica Q3 is a magnificent camera. it has become my default travel camera, one I used for the first time when we went to Hawaii last December.

I had always assumed that the Northern Lights were something that required a trip to Alaska or Norway.

As some people know, one of my favorite things in life is a ringside seat for our son’s passion for soccer.

Change is the law of life.

I have now been at Amazon Web Services for fifteen years.

Our vacations are often an excuse to go take pictures of birds.

Photography, birds, and synthesizers/recording music are the hobbies you’ll most often find me talking about or dabbling in but there’s one that precedes all of them.

2022 was the year that soccer became a big part of our life.

I am still completely incapable of planning a shoot in any meaningful way.

As many know I am an avid birder (have been since I was a kid) and started dabbling in bird photography in 2012.

Earlier this week I deleted the Twitter app from my phone.
